Soil, grade and what it means for your fence
Spring Hill is largely new construction, which means graded lots, compacted subsoil and thin topsoil across whole neighborhoods. Post setting is straightforward once you account for that compaction, and new lawns need irrigation far more than an established yard would.
The city straddles the Williamson and Maury County line, so soil transitions from the limestone influenced ground to the north into softer profiles further south.
